We realize that the website of the Institute of Cosmological Economics is a vast and complex site, so we have created the following introductory guide to help new readers quickly and easily explore the site and identify the key sections and information they are seeking. If you are new to our work, this page should help talk you through our general content, and direct you to what you are most interested in.
If you read through this introductory guide, it will direct you to all the most important sections of this website, where you will find further detailed index pages focusing down upon the more specific content within each section. For our older clients who are wondering what’s new on this new ICE website, see What’s New? page which will quickly isolate all the new content added on this site.
If you are interested in learning more about the subject matter, Cosmological Economics, which lies at the foundation of this site and the books and courses available here, begin with our general introduction to the subject, What Is Cosmological Economics? This section will provide you with a sequence of articles outlining an interesting and detailed history of the tradition and its origins, scientific bases, philosophical foundations, key figures, and practical applications of this little known field of science.
While this detailed introduction is probably best read in sequence, it can also be jumped around in whatever order your interest leads you. Each section interlinks with each other in various ways, and further leads deeper into our site through specific research topics, books, courses and categories of interest.
For a more general introduction to the ICE, our history, mission and activities, we suggest you read the About Us section which tells our story, leading back a couple generations from our origins with Dr. Baumring in the 1980’s, through our development onto the Internet back in the mid-90’s.
Our Article Index collates all of the ICE articles scattered throughout the site that are written by the institute and its authors. This index contains some of the most educative and informational content on this site.
There are many different areas of research and application within our numerous fields of expertise, so in order to help you identify the material you need to accomplish your specific goals, we have created a series of study guides, which recommend the most important books and courses for each specialized field of research, study, or trading.
In terms of trading, we have broken down the different approaches into clear categories, with specific references and recommendations as follows:
However, for those who are not able to simply categorize themselves as a particular type of trader, but are instead interested more abstractly in philosophy, or in various schools of thought, technical application, scientific theories or esoteric speculations, we have guides which approach the problem from such alternative angles.
In this situation, we work from points of theory, considering varying conceptual approaches, categorical fields of knowledge, or technical specializations, and provide research guides through a vast labyrinth of ideas, helping researchers to discover the material they have long sought, but did not where to find, or if it even existed at all. A summary of these types of alternative approaches would be:
The final category makes up the core of our primary clientele, for as one develops a taste for REAL knowledge of this kind, one tends to work from the superficial to the deeper layers of phenomena, finding first correlations, and then seeking causation. This quest inevitably leads beyond a mere study of financial markets, to a study of the Universe itself, and man’s relationship to it. This subject was named Cosmology by the great Pythagoras, founder of the Western scientific tradition. The type of researcher who will find the most value in our site is the one who takes THIS path, our specialty, which we have named “Cosmological Economics”.
We have over 350 published titles in our bookstore ranging from reprints of the most important old masterworks, to new proprietary trading systems and courses by modern authors, to background research texts in markets, science, metaphysics, esoterics and translations of rare source works into English.
The ICE catalog is divided into several key levels of material explained as follows:
The Showcased Authors are published exclusively by the Institute of Cosmological Economics and represent the best of the best works within this field of financial market analysis and forecasting. Most were written by living authors, or authors who lived recently, and to whose works we hold the exclusive distribution rights.
For analysts and traders looking for the most important material, this is it! Examples of such work include, the seminars of Dr. Jerome Baumring, and their elaboration by Catlin Plapcianu and Dr. Lorrie Bennett, the Hasbrouck Space-Time Forecasting Archives, the collected works of W. D. Gann, the work of Daniel T. Ferrera, Dr. Alexander Goulden, Daniele Prandelli, Gordon Roberts, Eric Penicka, Tim Walker, and more. These are the most popular and important works in our catalog.
These are other authors whom we consider to be very important, or whose works are popular with our clientele. Some will be the old Masters of the Golden Age of Technical Analysis like George Bayer or Dr. Alan Andrews, Donald Bradley, Sepharial, Tubbs, Cole, Elliot and the like, whose classic works we keep alive for ongoing generations of researchers and students.
Alternatively, they may be other modern authors whose work we do not publish, but which we respect and feel deserves inclusion in our catalog, such as the work of Andrew Pancholi, Bill Meridian, Earik Beann, Michael Jenkins, and other friends and associates of ours who also specialize in elements of our field. While our Showcased Authors represent under 50 works in our catalog, these others reach out to another 100+ excellent works.
The Translation Society is a joint partnership project with our more esoteric and scientific sister institute, the Sacred Science Institute, and our associated 501c3 non-profit foundation, The Sacred Science Preservation Foundation. This project began back in 2004 and was funded by a group of approximately 100 dedicated Gann researchers. It brought together top scholars to translate seven important titles from both German and French, specializing in highly important source works in vibrational harmonics, esoteric cosmology, and Pythagorean science, critical to the deepest market research.
The ongoing project will continue to translate many more important works into English in the coming years, using our non-profit status to raise funds through tax deductible donations and to obtain academic and government grants in the future.
The above sections serve to direct people towards very specific goals or to lists of our most popular and important works, centered around the field of financial analysis and trading. However, our entire catalog spans many times the number of listings mentioned above. In total we have over 400 titles, mostly our own publications, but we are also continuously adding other works which we consider to be important, published by ourselves or others.
Our main Bookstore Index is organized according to category, with very specific listings to help clients find the exact type of books they are looking for, or to direct them to highly specialized categories and relationships of which they may not be aware.
These categories extend far beyond financial market subjects into advanced fields of science and metaphysics, upon which the most advanced financial theories, like those of Gann, Bayer, AstroEconomics, the Law of Vibration, Market Geometry, Cycle Theory, and Cosmological Economics depend.
Our catalog is the most complete collection of books on these important subjects in the world.
Our Bookstore Database can also be browsed or searched by Author, Title, Category, or any Keyword, allowing many different ways to explore our vast collection to discover fascinating, new material about which you probably never knew.
Another large part of our site are our Discussion and Research Forums. Many of our forums are Private Forums accompanying specific, proprietary courses by our Showcased Authors, serving as a classroom environment where students of each book or course can interact with the author and other course owners, asking questions, sharing ideas and working together with other members. Forums attached to specific courses have restricted membership and can only be accessed by owners of those courses.
We also have Public Forums which are open to the general public upon registration, where anyone can discuss ideas and share research with a group of their peers interested in similar ideas and topics. A wider group of our general books and research topics are discussed in these forums, and ongoing commentary upon many of our more popular books are shared here. Please feel free to register for these Public Forums and to share your work and ideas.
We also are developing a peer reviewed Article Archive, where outside researchers can submit their research papers to share with our peer reviewed community, to receive feedback and engage in public discussion about their work.
