The Excel Tools

Three Excel tools come with the package.

The Hoda Chakra, Birth Date Match, and the KP Ruling Planet Sheet.

The Hoda Chakra, and Birth Date Match sheet are self contained. The KP Ruling Planet requires a data sheet which can be input, or the data can be manually entered.

The Hoda Chakra

This sheet gives the active syllable on the 11th house cusp at the designated location and time.

The user must input the date, time of race, and select the track from the pull down tab.

The light yellow tab on all the sheets are the user input boxes.

The following screenshot shows the Hoda Chakra sheet.

The relevant information is located on the sheet in column A to E, and Rows 1 to 7.

Inputting the correct race time, track, and date.

In column A, the date can be typed manually in column A, row 3. There are also six buttons to use which will change the date .

The 6 gray buttons are for month, day, year selections and will move each up or down in increments of 1, either plus or minus.

The time is manually input in column B row 3.

To change the time, click in the yellow box. Use the numbers 1-12 only for the hours and change to AM or PM. When the time is input, and the user clicks outside the box, the sheet automatically shows it in 24 hour format.

The track is selected in Column C, row 6. The arrow to the right of the box opens a pull down tab with the track list. Once the track is selected, its location is automatically calculated.

The output is shown in Column E, row 5 under the word syllable in the green box.

In the screenshot the active syllable is DE.

In this race any horse with its name beginning with the sound DE would be the match.

Birth Date Match 2020

This sheet has records of winners at all tracks for the last 5 years.

There are only two inputs, date and track.

Column A, row 2 is where the date is entered.

Column B, row 2, has a pull down tab where the track is selected.

Once this is done, the output is displayed in columns C to H.

Column C shows the race number, Column D, E, F, G, H show the winners date of birth from each respective year, looking back 5 years.

Race tracks do vary the start time of races. It is critical to realize this method works when the races are run near the same time as prior years.

The past results can be checked on equibase.com, under the historical results page, to check the past race times.

For the birth date check to work, the ascendant and midheaven signs on the cusps should be the same in the prior years as todays race.

In the example screenshot below, WRD, Will Rogers Downs, is the selected track, with the date of 4/7/2020. There is only history available from 2018 for this race date. Any horse matching one of these dates of birth in its respective race would be a qualifier as described in the book.

This sheet is good through 2020 as it has all results through the year 2019.

This sheet may be upgraded each year for a nominal fee.

KP Ruling Planet Method

The KP sheet has two input boxes on the main page, and a gray button for Update.

Column G and H, the race number input is set on a pull down tab, column G, row3.

In column H, the time can be manually adjusted by the user.

The update button will bring the time up to date from the listed post times from tab 1.

If the race is delayed, the user may type in the correct time in box H3 and CLICK OUTSIDE THE BOX TO UPDATE THE TIME.

Do not click the gray button when you manually update the time.

There are four tabs on the bottom of the sheet. The tab called “1”, is the data that feeds the main sheet.

These sheets may be provided for a small fee.

This date can be manually input as well.

The date, track, race, program number, post position number, horse name, horse birth date, and post time of race.

This data needs to be placed in tab 1 in the proper cells for the sheet to calculate.

This data can be input manually, or may be supplied by the author to the user for a fee.

Once this data is in place, the main page will call the data for each race as it is selected.
