About the Author
As a financial industry professional, author Alexander Straker has been eating, living and breathing technical analysis, cash flow management algorithms, market research and strategy development for the majority of his life. In his youth, Straker was recognized as a child prodigy in music, so aside from his financial career, he has university qualifications and vast experience in music and education.
As a parallel side career, he has been an active working musician and educator all his life. He also lectured in a professional capacity for government-registered subjects in the financial planning industry, and taught music in schools. Certainly, an interesting and useful mix for a Gann researcher.
One of Straker’s early university lecturers started talking about the construction proportions of ancient architecture in his music lectures at university. Wondering why exactly he did this, Straker went and asked him. You can probably imagine where that answer led...Discovering the ancient mysteries and ‘Gann science’ so early in his life led to his thoroughly researching Gann’s legacy along with the broader harmonic sciences for over 30 years,
Through this long journey, the one thing Straker constantly asked himself was ‘Why’? This intention lead to his setting very high standards in questioning, calculating, exploring, and seeking out the mathematical and geometric proof for the harmonic science & principles in action in all markets universally.
About the Books & Trading Tools
With Straker’s methods, precision is accomplished by the application of symmetry, ancient geometry and mathematics to the financial markets. There are astronomical concepts which are important to his teaching, but these are only relevant to the Gann's methods in Book 2, and will not be presented until Book 3 of The Universal Golden Keys Series
In Straker’s case it has never been good enough to accept that tools ‘just work’. He has pushed the boundaries further than most would dare in an effort get to an understanding of root principles of the material being studied. In particular, his most intriguing accomplishment was in finally cracking the scaling dilemma that has bamboozled the best of them for 100 yeas!

The applications themselves are primarily based upon the principles of physics, ancient geometry, symmetry, and cycles. This comprehensive system of scaling, with its methods and tools was developed and refined over 30 years of research, trading and professional management.

Alex Straker's trading record is excellent! In his public newsletter he produced an unleveraged return of approximately 30%. During 2 weeks in March, 2020, Straker traded a new sample account used for teaching his son and produced a 4000% return in 2 weeks! Continuing Research
Straker recently completed his Volume 3 of the Universal Keys Series which integrates astronomical principles with the grid systems and Pendulum Motion presented in Volumes 1 & 2. Now that Book 3 is complete, he is working on a more simple, introductory course on the fundamentals of trading, that will provide non-professional traders with the much needed foundations in technical analysis and swing trading that he has found many less seasoned trader are missing, causing them to struggle in applying the more advanced work. This material will not be as complex or expensive as his first 3 Books, but is rather intended to provide students with the required introductory material that many traders are badly lacking.
